Geriatric Barn Cat Skull | Male
This skull was donated.
This is the skull of an approximately 18 year old barn cat.
He was euthanized by a vet due to bad arthritis in his pelvis and back legs. He has lost some teeth to age.
Please use photos as part of the description.
Although he was well looked after, fed daily, desexed and fully vaccinated she was not seen as a companion. He was part of a few farm/barn cats that were kept to keep rodents at bay.
The owner was okay allowing me to collect them after they had been euthanized.
I did not take any photos as I normally would as these cats had been left for me to collect in an empty barrel and they had broken down quite a bit and they did not look appropriate to take photos of anymore with anything you could identify and distinguish.
The reason why they were left in the barrel is due to this farm being very rural and the barrel was the agreed upon location they could be left for me discreetly so I could collect when I was able to pass through the area and that way we did not have to agree to meet on a certain day at a certain time and then there was no deadline.
