Diaphonized Octopus | Experiment | 65mm Glass Dome

I experimented using diaphonizing stains with an octopus. Since octopus have no skeleton and only contain a small bit of cartilage in the body, it's basically just an expensive way of staining an octopus blue/purple. 
You can see the purple stains were attracted to some calcium on the outer skin of the octopus but otherwise it's pretty solid stained.
In a 65mm glass dome with black base. Sitting in glycerine, alcohol and thymol.
