Tanned cat paw. 
These didn't make it into my cat themed mystery boxes as when I tan paws I like to leave them in the tan for a long time to make sure they're done. 
These can only be processed this way via chrome tanning. 
Then I dry them out and leave them for weeks until I know the tanning has worked, the paws are no longer flexible (this means there is no raw tissue left). 
These are discounted because they did shrink a little bit because I have over dehydrated them once I dried them. 
- Sourcing - these paws were from cats that were donated to me.
When I clean skeletons for cat owners, I always ask, what would they like me to do with the fur or any other parts not being processed. Clients always have the option to have any unprocessed remains returned to them frozen, wrapped in a blanket and then put into a Hessian bag so they can bury their pet straight away. 
However, if they do not want the rest retured, a few clients have allowed me to keep it, knowing it will go to an ethically sourced and much-loved item, I will take the rest as payment if the client agrees to this in exchange for my processin. All cats I clean and articulate for clients have loved their cats, and I have complete permission to use scraps of fur. 
All cats I work on in this manner have been euthanased by a vet due to incurable illness or old age.
