Cat Bone Pack | Patina | 12 Pieces

12 pack of large feral cat bones. 
This cat was picked up from the side of the road by a friend on my local council when they were doing roadside clean up on the highway.
Due to decomposing naturally I think this is what has created a patina on these bones. In this particular case I think the patina was created due to absorption of the environment in which it was breaking down in. With a lot of blackwood trees in the area that are high in tannins and mineral rich soil.
I've degreased and tried to whiten but the patina was here to stay. 
The cat was already in an advanced stage of decay. There was no way to distinguish anything recognisable but to clarify, no one in the closet town had reported a cat missing. Tasmania are facing stricter and sticker rules in regards to free roaming pet cats and it is paying off. There have been less cats reported missing in the last few months of 2026.
