50ml 10% Thymol Solution Spray | Antibacterial Antifungal Entomology Sol

50ML bottle of thymol antibacterial antifungal solution used for entomology, wet specimens, and sanitising your workbench and tools. 
Thymol is a strong antibacterial antifungal agent that is not water soluble. This means it leaves microscopic traces instead of evaporating like plain alcohol. 
This thymol solution is 10% thymol carried with ethanol. As thymol is not a solution, it's a crystal derived from plants such as thyme. 
Thymol crystal comes in various grades at different price ranges, such as pharmaceutical grade, pure, white, food, and laboratory grade.
 
This thymol is laboratory grade. This grade of Thymol has a melting range of 48–51°C, and a non-volatile (not vaporising) residue of 0.05%. 
It's a key ingredient in hand sanitizer, nail salon solutions (to prevent fungal infections), and other antibacterial cleaning agents. 
Although you can get a 4% thymol solution from your local nail salon or beauty warehouse or in some hand sanitizer, please do not use this 10% solution on your hands; it can cause irritation, as this is not pharmaceutical grade.
This product has a 2 year shelf life in an amber glass bottle.
Uses- 
☆ Entomology displays and insects after pinning to prevent mould and mildew from forming. 
☆ Wet specimen, spraying old wet specimen to help prevent bacteria from forming. Typically and ideally used when transferring a specimen into glycerine to prevent mold forming on specimen or seals. Give a generous spray to your specimen or rubber seal. 
☆ Your workspace, used as an antibacterial spray on surfaces and tools. Wipe dry afterwards with a clean cloth. 
☆ Clean your skull and taxidermy displays and cabinets. Thymol is good at preventing insects from wanting to make a new home in your skulls or taxidermy displays. Just remember to spray at least 30cm away from a specimen to avoid drenching items.
