Jersey Calf Skull
6 week old Jersey calf skull.
Passed away suddenly for unknown reasons.
Interestingly enough this calf was a twin. Twins are rarer in cattle than in lambs.
This calf was significantly smaller than the other. Could be a factor in its passing.
Degreased but not whitened to give it a natural colour.
There are no nasal turbinates as they were destroyed badly by insects. The calf has all her teeth.
Articulated into a sturdy skull.
