Indian Myna Wings | 1 Pairs
Indian Myna Wings (1 Pair)
A wing span of 24-25cm
An invasive species to Australia and considered a pest to be culled to control numbers.
Indian Myna are very aggressive and territorial nest stealers. They will destroy other native bird eggs to steal the nest for their own.
Myna also carries diseases such as avian influenza and mites which can impact humans.
Culling these birds in a lot of regions of Australia is important to our ecosystem. If you're setting traps for them it may result in fines if you relocate and release.
If they need to be culled it is a shame to waste them. Although they are never culled solely for taxidermy purposes and many are discarded in general waste. You cannot find established colonies of Indian Myna in Tasmania and if you do spot one you are to call biosecurity or email invasivespecies@nre.tas.gov.au and report it as soon as possible.
My price is simply based on my fee to have these birds shipped in and to clean them.
These birds have been culled in NSW, Australia.
