2026 Curiosity Shop Christmas Advent Calendar With 24 Doors
2026 brings us a new Curiosity Shop advent calendar. Jammed packed with oddities, DIY oddity projects, mini displays, mini wet specimens and more!
Each day will open a door to something new to carry you through December until Christmas Eve.
Everything is handpicked, handmade, local or imported from my own trusted contacts to make sure everything is ethical, sustainable and with purpose.
DIY- included is some DIY projects with everything included, from glue to hooks to chains. This allows you to make it your way and add what you like from what you already have or something else found in the calendar. By not completing something ourselves, you give yourself the full opportunity to make it into something you will use, wear or want. It's also fun to have little projects that are also suitable for children.
Reuse, rehome or reinvent – a lot of items in the calendar will come with options, from building your own extravagant oddity keychain to simply adding a chain and making your own necklace. The additional supplies included with your oddities can be swamped and changed to suit other items within the calendar and best of your own unique style.
Additional items – these may include things like bare leather necklaces, small hooks, magnets, mini glue pots, keychains and links. They're scattered throughout the advent calendar, rather than making them part of the calendar and assigning them a day (I hate it when advent calendars do this with seemingly inexpensive and boring items). They'll be included with certain items, but it doesn't mean you need to use them with those items. The choice and free will are yours.
⚠️ Warning – Spoilers below; if you want your advent calendar to be a surprise, stop reading here.
