Sleepy Baby Bunny | Wet Specimen

Forever asleep, forever at rest. 

Sometimes baby animals don't thrive, and like these kits, that is unfortunately what happened. There are so many factors that arent't always obvious to us when baby animals die as to what caused it. 

We have preserved them as wet specimens and put them in a 100mm large dome that stands on a lovely black base. 
 
We preserve our specimen in a 10% formalin solution for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure the entire specimen is fixed and set ready to transfer to the dome. The specimen is kept in 70% isopropyl alcohol inside the dome.
