Newborn Calf Skull

New born calf. Calf was born as a stillborn. 
You can see the skull has not yet fully fused (normal with newborns) a very cute skull that is anatomically complete.
This skull was not clean by me but it was not boiled. It was properly cleaned. Sometimes when skulls dry particularly babies, the bone shrinks and can warp. This did happen to this skull however I've filled in the gaps in the bone to mimic cartilage which is what sits between plates of bones in newborns until the cartilage osyfies and turns to bone.
